Chicago Cubs center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong was named National League Player of the Week after an incredible five-game stretch in which he went 11-for-20 (.550) with four home runs, seven RBIs, a double, a triple, two stolen bases, and the first cycle of the 2026 MLB season. He also extended his hitting streak to 10 games and his on-base streak to 23 games.
Seattle Mariners right-hander Logan Gilbert earned American League Player of the Week honors by going 2-0 with a 1.35 ERA and 0.60 WHIP in two starts. Gilbert pitched 13⅓ innings, allowed just two earned runs and five hits, walked three, and struck out 18 batters while lowering his season ERA from 3.62 to 3.29.
